My dad and my 19 year old sister went to go see RoboCop at the theaters last night, but I didn't want to come. Besides that, what would you rate RoboCop as?

I grew up with the original RoboCop... It just seems like they updated it with more technical stuff. To say, I likely won't see it... Not until it's burned into the screen by TV channels overplaying it. Not all remakes need to be "remade" this is one of them on my list. The people in the first set of RoboCop movies and short series... They made it what it is. Sure, had some big names in the current one, but I can't see past the original people or the current people's "other" characters in play in the movie. If that makes sense...

My dad saw the original RoboCop...

EDIT: I looked him up and the old RoboCop looks kind of weird...he doesn't have that red LED light on his helmet.

He did? The new one is currently in theatre... Unless it was a special screening. There are 3 original movies and a mini series... Plus the "new age" one.

Ya. He does... But the newer one looks that to me since I am used to the original. Back when that was out, it was like it was top of the line. Such example is Star Wars or the Indiana Jones tech/gear. The 90's was beautiful and then boomed once 2000's hit. Hence, all the remaking that seems to be occurring now. (because of technological booms) In remakes, they tend to amend the storylines. Most cases, I prefer originals and the original art of the original creators. (not to be obvious)

I may go see it soon, as it is rated PG-13 for the 2014 RoboCop.

EDIT: I am 13, but I will turn 14 soon.

Nah. It means if you are 13, you need to have a parent with you. If its anything like the old one, probably have a few iffy parts and the rest of the movie is fine. Usually it's the shooting, language and love stuff getting that PG 13 rating.

You would probably enjoy it a lot. Good plot and everything.

Okay. ^^ Well, my dad, my sister and I are planning to go see it again, except only I wanted to see RoboCop, so they don't mind watching it again.
