As mentioned, it's a P2 Tamagotchi and it is a second generation P2 - you can tell by the background design of the screen. Wavy lines = Gen2 (Checkerboard pattern=Gen1)

No need. It will be useful to other members - it gives everyone a little info on how to spot a fake or a real tamagotchi
