Tamago isn't Reading Toppers Correctly

My brother started up his Tamago this afternoon and asked to borrow my toppers. I said sure and gave him my Kutchipatchi one. But when he put it on it had all the Mametchi topper features! The Mametchi shop, games, and items! So we took it on it put my actual Mametchi topper on. His Tamago didn't register it at all. We took it off and put it back on. After that everything seems to be ok for the most part. What happened?! Is it my brother's Tamago or my toppers that are acting up?

My tama-go does weird stuff like that too. O-O

It's probably not being slid in the right way or wasn't on all the way. This is pretty common. You could always try cleaning the contacts with a little bit of alcohol and a Q-tip/cotton swab, too, and then let dry completely before using again (Take out batteries before doing this just to be safe.)
