Hi everyone! :D

I have been wondering this for a while: why is the yellow Tamagotchi Angel worth more than the other non-japanese Angels?

I heard it has been discountinued earlier, but if that's right... why? Was it selling less than the other colors, or did Bandai want to make it 'limited' by purpose? How earlier was it discountinued?

I'm very curious to know more about it!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that there was ever a Japanese yellow Angelgotchi. Therefore, I would guess that its regional exclusiveness simply makes it more special for collectors, and therefore tends to boost its value.

 
Yeah, there's a gold Japanese Angel like Midorime posted but no yellow Japanese Angel in the same color of the American one.

I don't think the yellow American one was Limited Edition or anything, just more "sought-after"?

I heard the Golden Angelgotchis were white Angelgotchis that had discolored, just like the orange TamaOtch.

Why was the yellow Tamagotchi Angel discountinued?

 
I'm not sure why it was discontinued either...but it was a limited edition because there wasn't a yellow Japanese angelgotchi. But maybe they were discolored..!
