I noticed that the HTC One has an Infrared port. I thought it was like most smart phones now and it's only used to connect to remotes but I haven't been able to find any information on it. Does anyone know if it can connect to a Tamagotchi iD L?

 
I do not think it is.

If you can't find an option like "beam" or "Send" via infrared then it most likely isn't.
