donating gotchi points?

im unsure if this has been asked already, if so i apologise  :babytchi:

does anything happen if you donate gotchi points to the gotchi king? Will he visit you or will you get better luck? or is it just a random feature..

When you donate enough gotchi points, you'll eventually get something on your screen that says, "VISIT TAMATOWN". Then you go on tamatown, visit King Gotchi, and he gives you a prize! But sadly, since tamatown has shut down, the donating gotchi points really has no purpose anymore. :(
