That's a Hoppe-chan pet from Takara Tomy, not Bandai.

EDIT: The toy is called "Hoppe-chan Suicolle".

I saw a Japanese TV advertisement for it once but I forgot most of it XD All I know is that your pet can go into the TV somehow.

Looks more like a tablet to me. Could you point us to the advertisement?

perhaps the toy has bluetooth capabilities and that's how it's able to communicate with other devices

 
I can't show the advertisement because I just saw it during a stream :l

And maybe it was a tablet; I wasn't paying much attention to it :p

 
Looks like a tablet, in which case it wouldn't work in the states because we can't get the app. Unless you can hack the app or something.

 
Is it iOS or Android? I only have an ipod touch.
