Blue Home Deka

After much consideration, I have decided I might get a blue home deka Tamagotchi.

What are your opinions on it? I watched a video about it but it didn't seem very detailed and so I'm confused >w<

How much do they usually sell for, and is it worth it?

If you have a Japanese version 3, it's an okay companion to have. I think all you do is get Gotchi Points in it to build a home for the main character but can also send money to the Ketais.

I really like it.

The games are nice and especially the shop is special; has a lot of unique items such as picture books of a lot of classical tamagotchis, cellphones that allow you to call a few of them, and a lot of different, exclusive stuff, making the blue home deka something of a tamagotchi artifact collector.

It can send money and items to the ketai and aka ketai (though I've heard the items might look different on the aka ketai).

It can also send money to entama and uratama.

You save money for upgrading your house and buying pets. You can go to school and speak to other tamagotchi students (in japanese, but still...)

I've had heaps of help from this guide: ... Nevermind, the page (tamasquare hosted by peppersoup.net) seems to have timed out. Such a pity, it was an excellent page with complete info on a few rarer tamagotchi versions...

Anyway, I'd definatly recommend the home deka, you can always ask here if you need help with anything. I've seen quite a few being sold cheaply on ebay lately, so keep an eye open and you might have luck!

I quite like mine but I wouldn't say it's all that fun, then again I don't have a Ketai too. I'd say if you're wanting it more to collect than to play with (if that makes sense) it's a cool addition and they're quite good to play with when all other tamas have gone to sleep but it's not all that essential. I much prefer my normal Tamas and a lot of the time my Deka just sits on my desk as decoration more than anything.

I prefer Tamagotchis for their play value, not their collectors worth. I've decided to save up for a TMGC+C instead because I saw some videos on it and it looks so lovable

I think that's the right decision, good choice too! The TMGC+C is adorable! It's the one that got me back into TMGC, I think you'll enjoy it .
If you're still after a Deka type in the future and you have an iD though it might be word looking into the iD station, as a Deka it's much better than the Home Blue one.
