what is something wired you thought was real when you were little? or maybe something cute and funny, or just plan random?

when I was little I would read archie comics and since the characters all had a black out lining, I thought people in real like have a black out lining to. so I would just end up staring at people to see if I could see it XD

So thank y'all some much for checking out my topic and please feel free to leave a reply! have a good day and sayonara!

I thought the word "heart" had two spellings; "heart" for the organ, "hart" for the shape. And NOBODY CORRECTED ME when I wrote "hart". Also, I spelled "surname" "sir name" because the last name is used when you refer to someone as "Sir". Again, nobody corrected me. WHY DA DOLFINZ NOT?!?!?!?!

That's it, really. I never believed in the tooth fairy or aliens or Santa or anything. People don't call me really good at science for no reason :p

I had a suspicion when I was a little kid, so asked a few classmates a rather odd question: when you were little, did you think guys and gals look the same under there?

Answer: yes xD

Previously I did not know that girls get hair under their arms, and I still find it very strange. Who knows what other horrors there are that I'm unaware of...

in mcdonalds french fry bags/cases/whatever they are, i used to think that if i touched the bottom of them i would go to a different dimension. i am not kidding you.

first and for most...thank y'all so much for your comments! for whatever reason my computer wont let me quote stuff right now.

and another thing I thought as a little one was that if you look away from you plushies and look back at them really quickly, you could see them move and stuff. and since we did not own cats when I was younger, I thought that if you were special enough you could talk to them and they would talk to you.

I used to think that "swearing" and "drinking" were always bad. For example, when people would say "I swear I'll do my homework" I would think "Oh my goodness, they swore!!" because I didn't really understand what it meant. I also would get confused sometimes when people would say "I'm thirsty, I need a drink" because I would think they were referring to alcohol. xD

When I first watched an anime as a kid, I didn't realize the show was from Japan. I thought the mouths didn't match what was being said just because the animators were lazy, not because the characters were originally speaking a different language.

I used to always watch TV with Closed Captions on just because. I used to believe that someone, somewhere had some wireless typewriter connected to my TV and they were watching the show along with me and typing the captions really fast. I have no idea how I thought that was possible.

I used to think the entire human body was full of blood, rather than the blood being in veins/arteries throughout the body.

at violet... that's too funny XD. and sonic blades i also used to think human body was full of blood , lol.

and yet another thing i thought as a child is that each season one had three month each, i thought that the second it was new year it turend spring, the after three month it turned summer and so on. i got confused when it was still snowing around V-day.

again thank y'all for your comments!

i thought, that in the TV, there were little fuzz ball artists that painted each frame of a cartoon in a nano second. not kidding again

pighat.... that's too cute! XD :) :) :)

at mametchi fan.... that made me laugh and i have no idea why XDD.

AND another thing i thought was real when i was a kid is that if a bat bit you and you did not go to the ER that day you would die after 30 days... strange huh? LOL

(super sorry i am not ''quoting" any of yo posts, my computer still wont let me :p )

thanks for commenting!

When I was attending my Catholic School, we were taught that even "what the heck" and "shut up" were super bad words. I had no idea that there were other bad words. Also, because of this, whenever I was really mad, I could only manage "what the". This also caused some slight "cultural shock" when I transferred to a new public school. I wonder how many times I yelled at people to stop swearing when they said "what the heck". Of course now I curse like a sailor but meh.

Another thing that happened was I used to think that grades happened like this: 1-8 grade, middle school, high school, and college.

Whenever I talked about the mainland, all I could imagine was a strip of blue-green land.

I thought that people really did get hurt/killed in live-action shows. I thought they were criminals and as punishment they had to be in the TV show and get punched, killed, etc. I didn't know actors and special effects existed.
