Does/has anyone played it? I have 4 Harvest Moon games. 1 for GBA, 2 for my DSi and 1 for my Wii! It used to be my favorite game, but for some odd reason, I stopped playing it. I might again, just for the nostalgia.

It's super cute and pretty fun. :)

I love Harvest Moon! It's always been one of my favorite game franchises. I've only played the original SNES version, Back to Nature, and Island of Happiness.

The original is probably my favorite. It's pretty simple compared to the others I've played but that's why I like it. Also, the graphical style was inspired by Legend of Zelda. It was also the first HM game I ever played. I used to rent it constantly as a kid. The rest of my family told me the game looked boring and they couldn't understand why I liked it so much.

BtN is great too, though there's so much to do in that version that I feel overwhelmed sometimes. Last time I played it, I actually had to write out a daily schedule for the game! I couldn't really get into IoH. I like the whole shipwrecked story, but I found it way too hard to able to enjoy it. You can hardly do anything without your character passing from hunger/exhaustion.

I have 2 one for the DS and one for the 3DS. Also google harvest moon on google news. Harvest moon is going to have an new name and a new game will be released.

That's weird. I Google'd it and it seems there's two new games coming out. One is called The Lost Valley and is still using the Harvest Moon name, and the other is being renamed Story of Seasons because it's being published by XSEED and they couldn't get the rights from Natsume to use the regular name. That's really confusing but at least we're getting both games here in the States.

Wow, that is confusing!

But as long as both games are good and fun then it doesn't matter what they're called.

What the crap Natsume.

So basically, XSEED is taking over Harvest Moon, but changing the name (PRAISE JESUS. As much as I love Harvest Moon, XSEED will do a way better job with translations) and Natsume is keeping the name but changing the game.

ALRIGHT.

But yes, Harvest Moon is my favorite franchise.

I own all the games aside for the SNES, 64, and Back to Nature one :p

I played three Harvest Moons and I'm currently playing More Friends in Mineral town. :D I played Back to Nature- Boy and Girl, Harvest Moon DS, and Hero of Leaf Valley. :)

Omg it's one of my obsessions!!!!!!! Lol seriously!!!! I own Harvest moon ds, magical melody, friends of mineral town(my personal favorite) and tale of 2 towns :)

I remember playing Harvest Moon (GBA) when I was a bit younger. I never understood the concept of farming to get money so I would just pick up rocks and sell them, and go into town carrying my dog.

I HAVE PLAYED EVERY GAME IN THE SERIES EXCEPT FOR THE 3DS ONES OMG IDEKA asdfghjkl;'

I've played with the Wii ones for quite some time and loved them but didn't really spend time on it as it belongs to my cousin. Currently playing TOTT and HOLV. (Tale Of Two Towns and Hero Of Leaf Valley) As a fan, I can say that Back To Nature was probably the best along with Friends Of Mineral Town and Hero Of Leaf Valley. BTN and FOMT are solid entries and I don't even know why. It's just fun for some unknown reason. HOLV is probably one of the hardest as it sets a certain goal.

Also, I do not get why a lot of people like Harvest Moon 64 :p It's so fast paced and the controls are hard and the family tree is a ship wreck (maybe because I started with FOMT). Worst on my opinion is probably the Harvest Moon GB series and IOH & SI and let's not forget the "Futuristic Harvest Moon", Innocent Life. I don't like the GB series for some reason. IOH & SI were trying hard idk. and lets not talk about the "futuristic harvest moon". basically, it's crap.

The spin-off series Rune Factory is a great game series as well.
