I found two nano pets (a baby one and puppy one) a giga pet and a tamagotchi v1.. I haven't got any batteries for it but the bottons look pressed in.. Does that mean it's broke? Also what screw driver do you use for a tamagotchi?

Pressed in or cut and under the shell where you cannot press it? If that's the case, someone tore the button out. If you press it and it responds, it just means the buttons are more flush with the shell.

A JIS screwdriver has been recommended the most for Tamas. But you can go to a local Home Depot and also pick up the Husky brand interchangeable screwdriver set for not a lot and it works fine enough so long as you're careful. It's on Amazon but it's a high price, and I cannot find it on Home Depot site, so you'll have to go there and take a look, but it's this set: https://www.amazon.com/HUSKY-8---1-Precision-Screwdriver/dp/B000M83Y2G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1403030763&sr=8-2&keywords=husky+8-in-1+screwdriver+set

This could also work maybe, and it's still for sale at Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Iron-Bridge-Tools-Precision-Screwdriver-Set-6-Piece-008-060-HKY/202928773

Just don't buy the set with the black handle tip, that's Torx.

A couple of pictures of the tama would be useful so we'd know what they look like.

I'd recommend taking a picture straight down at it, and a few at some angles and from the side.
