Hello everyone! This is my first tamagotchi log ever! I feel excited, and also a little bit like "what am I getting myself into".

Today I started up my V1. I was completely charmed from the moment I put the battery in and saw the egg on the screen. There is some nostalgia for me from this version. After the V3, this was the second version of tamagotchi I played with, even though I didn't own it back then (I played with my friend's V1 ).



(I'm sorry if the pictures end up being huge, I'm new to this.)

There she is! (Has anyone watched that animation? XD)



Her name is Cody. I think it's interesting as a girl's name. (Actually, I was distracted when she hatched and so I looked at the screen only when it was asking for a name, and for some reason thought it must be a boy, and that's why I gave the name Cody.) But as it turns out, Cody can be both a boy's name and a girl's name.

Then she changed into marutchi, but I didn't get a picture before she fell asleep again (with a poop next to her, oops ).

Thanks Dragonboy, for your kind comment! It's really nice to be able to play with a tamagotchi version you've never tried before, right? This is my first time running a v1! I don't have a v2, but I hope I can get one someday as a lot of people seem to say they are simplistic, but really fun. (And thanks. )

(Please excuse the blurry photo) But doesn't she look so cute! With her cheek puffed out chewing her candy! XD I'm so used to the way that tamagotchis look when they eat in other versions, you know, how they always eat things in 3 bites. I guess in this version they made the animations slightly more interesting because there were only 1 meal and 1 snack to animate (besides the baby bottles).



If you couldn't tell, I really like the game Jump. (And so does Cody.)

I'm a real pro at this photo-taking business.

Cody currently has 2 bars in her training meter, full happy and hungry meters, and is 11 pounds. It's still early in the day for me (middle of the afternoon) but I'm going to my younger brother's graduation, so she'll be paused until tonight.

Hello again! Just a short update today, Cody spent a good amount of the day paused, as I went to see a movie. (Edge of Tomorrow, and it was awesome by the way...)



Cody has evolved into...Ichigotchi! Yeah!

Let's look at the growth chart:



So from this path, Cody could possibly become Mametchi , Hanatchi , Kuchipatchi , Masktchi h34r: , or Tarakotchi .

(Secretly, I'm hoping for Hanatchi )



Oh cheer up Cody. I'll be happy whatever adult character you turn into! Promise!

Another day, another log entry! Today Cody is 2 years old. She currently has full hungry and happy meters, and her training meter is half full (5 bars). Her weight is 22 lbs. This time I've been trying to keep her weight as low as possible. When I run this version again in the future, I might become more lazy and let my tamagotchis gain weight.



"Quickly gaining speed, Cody sprints towards the fourth hurdle! Look at that perfect form! Amazing! No longer worm-like, she has definitely grown from her younger appearances. But! Can she make the leap?"



"And she does it! Look at that smile! Folks, we have a hurdling champion! Cody the Ichigotchi!"

(Ignore the fact that it says she's on hurdle 2, okay? I just put in whatever pictures come out the clearest. XD)

If you're wondering why I always play Jump, that's because simon says type games, like Dance, just annoy the heck out of me. I don't know why. I usually don't do too badly. I do play Dance sometimes (when I get really sick of Jump) but I forget to take pictures.

Speaking of dancing...





Now those are some sick dance moves for a strawberry with legs. I'm telling ya.

Animations like that are just so cute and charming. I can't help but smile when I check my tamagotchi and see something like that on the screen.

Anyway I hope that this log isn't too boring, running only one virtual pet with minimal features. I thought for my first time logging I should start with something simple. Thanks for reading!

Anyway...I kept my promise. I played...DANCE. (*gasp*)





Why do you look so happy Cody? You know I don't like this game! Or do you just like dancing? *flashback to the sick dance moves*

I never knew jumping and stepping to either side could be considered dancing. (Well, maybe by Dance Dance Revolution standards it is )

Sorry for the short entry...as I said...this tamagotchi does not have a lot of features. I know I could wait until Cody evolves but...I just like logging daily. I think in the future when I run my v1 I'll run maybe my v4 or v3 at the same time so I can log both and connect them. I also want to find out what the v1 can get in terms of presents from connecting.

She was watching tv at one point! But I didn't get my phone out fast enough to take a picture.



So cool how the foods change for the different characters! I didn't actually know that before. I thought they were the bottles for the baby, then became bread and candy only. So this is neat! Now Cody eats pizza as a meal, and a corndog as a snack! (kind of unhealthy though, isn't it...)



Hey stop moving! I'm trying to take a picture! Stop being so difficult!

Yeah...woah! You really have a set of chompers on you, don't you Cody?! *backs away slowly*

Anyway, that's all for today! Tomorrow I start my summer job, so I don't know how that will affect my logging. Any virtual pets I run will have to be paused/asleep during the day. What I might do, is set the time so that my tamagotchis stay up as late as I do at night.

I'm sorry for neglecting this log, everyone. My summer job started, and things have been pretty busy, and stressful for me! But don't worry, I'm still running virtual pets! I'm just behind on the logging part.

And so, Cody the masktchi was visited by the matchmaker. She married an androtchi and had a baby boy!



Mother and son.

I named the baby boy Dante (not a reference to Dante's Inferno or anything like that, I just like the name). But I was feeling a bit tired of the v1, so I took out the batteries, and decided to start up something different. When I post again (tomorrow) you shall see what!

I decided to run...my nano baby! This was my first time running a nano baby, and my first time running a virtual pet other than a tamagotchi. So I was excited!

My two runs of this pet did not turn out so well, and also I didn't get many pictures, so be aware of that. :/

I decided to name the baby boy Sawyer, because I like that name. It looks a little odd on the nano baby display, because the r is on the bottom line...>_>

Anyway at first I thought the nano baby was pretty cute! Simple, but fun and cute. My favourite game out of the two was the crawling game, because you can reliably win quickly, whereas the rock paper scissors game requires more effort .

But after a while I became a bit fed up! Jeeze this thing is needy! The hearts deplete so quickly, and besides that, the baby gets sick or dirty and poops a lot.

Unfortunately for my job (beach lifeguarding) I had to leave my nano baby at home. I work 10:30 to 5 so that's a long time to leave a virtual pet. At first I thought nano babies could be paused like other pets, by going to the clock screen, and not setting the time. But I quickly found out that didn't work when I came home to something like 7 poops, and a sick, dirty baby!



So I began setting the clock so that Sawyer would be asleep while I was at work. But still, after setting the clock to the correct time, he would wake up with still a few poops and sometimes sick.

Eventually...(and by that I mean after a few days) I picked up my nano baby to see the word "END" in the middle of the screen.

Well darn.

Time for take 2!

Unfortunately I didn't get many pictures for this next run. It was another baby boy, which I named Noah.



See I thought I was taking better care of him this time around.

But just now...at 3/4 years old...



...I think it's time to run something else.

Yay someone knows Maru! I thought it was a funny thing to add in my log, so I'm glad someone appreciated my lame joke. And thank you so much for your kind comment!

Anyway on to the log!

So after the UTTERLY DISASTROUS NANO BABY FAILURE (x2) I decided to run my two tamagotchi apps! The original Tamagotchi L.I.F.E. (man that is an annoying name to type) and the Tamagotchi L.I.F.E. Angel! I don't know why okay. I just felt like it.

First was the original app. I chose Generation 1 (aka P1).



Hatching. (jesus that background seriously looks like it was drawn badly in ms paint what the heck)



It's a babytchi! (Not at all surprising, is it...)



Which became Marutchi.



Snoozin'.

Now the app does not allow you to name your tamagotchis...but that won't stop me! And not just that, I am no longer limited to 5 character-long names! MUAHAHAHA! *cough* Er...I shall name you...Antonio. :3

Next is the angel app! This one is so cute! But I'm a bit annoyed at some of the features...the tamagotchis never seem to poop or go for strolls...at least I've never seen it...and I never get chances to increase the Deeds level either. :/

She started off life as Obaketchi 2 (or Ghost Jr. as the app calls it).



You better brush your teeth after eating that.

I didn't even get another picture before she became Maruten (Marutchi angel in the app...I don't even have a tamagotchi angel toy and yet I'm still too used to the other names. XD)



...oh yeah I also changed the background too. (the backgrounds look SO much better in the angel app than in the original...)

That cloud bed is adorable. It also looks comfy. I want one.

As well I should name this tamagotchi...I've already decided she is a girl. it's completely random, but I'm going to name her Cotton Candy.

And that's all that happened that day! I hope you guys still like this log. I feel like I'm running out of funny things to say/comment on. Also I hope the pictures switching between app and toy mode isn't too annoying. I like the convenience of app mode (not having to scroll through the icons) and also the fact that the character is in colour, but overall I like the look of the tamagotchi shell better. So I take pictures in both!

Hello everyone! It seems to be a bit funny to me now that I'm running my log a few days behind real time. Because I already know what Antonio and Cotton Candy evolved into...but you guys don't, yet.

Cotton Candy, it looks as though you're staring straight at me when you really should be looking at that star, you know, the one you're about to jump over!? Pay attention...(well maybe being hit by a star doesn't hurt angels at all...)



And then I changed the shell and decided to feed Cotton Candy candy until her angel points maxed out (which I guess happens at 50) for reasons that I cannot remember.

And that's the end of this log entry.

Wow...it has um...yeah...been a while huh...

Sorry for not keeping up with the log! I've just been busy with my summer job, and life issues. >_>;;

So here's a sort of quick recap of everything since!

Antonio changed into tamatchi (I don't have a photo ;___; )



And then into a green tarakotchi! Yeah it's a bad care character but I was happy to get him because I haven't gotten this adult yet.

At 7 years of age, Antonio went back to tamagotchi planet.



Now who was it that was supposed to be responsible for your exercise?!...oh right...that's me. ;;;

Oh yeah I also unlocked a new shell.



Ooh...how...minimalist...

Cotton Candy evolved into...a yellow chestnut angel. -___- I've already gotten this EXACT ADULT maybe three times already...I'm sorry yellow chestnut angel...but I want to get a different adult (I got the twins once, but the other times I tried to neglect the angel to get other characters, it died. .___.)



My goodbye message: ...somehow Cotton Candy, you spent your whole life without pooping. I don't how health works for angels...but that just can't have been good. And next time, evolve into something else. Please. Anything. Even just a different colour chestnut angel will do. Also, you never prayed or did any good deeds. You slacker.

...

...now go to tamagotchi planet or whatever it is you do...no I'm not crying! It's just allergies! *blows nose loudly*
