I've had my TamaOtch for about 3 weeks, and the batteries have gone out. I've tried to unscrew the back but the screws are on tightly so they don't move. How can I solve this?

Malfoy Edit: Obnoxious font and size removed.

take it to a jewlery store or a watch store, they can remove the stripped screw for you

We'll try that. I'm sure it should be able to come off. I hope it does because I want to run my TamaOtch again.
Thanks for helping out.

One of my TamaOtch screws won't come out and I accidentally chipped the back ugh... I should probably take mine to a watch store too.

I had this problem too. What I did was break off the part of the back covering the batteries, then add tape to the top of them, then replace it. Then add tape to the two parts so they stay together. That should make it work, and it won't break your Tamagotchi. Try to use the thick round batteries found in vintage Tamagotchis instead of the flatter ones because they won't stay in place because they are half the size of what they should be.

If the screws aren't stripped, there's still a chance to get them out yourself without having to take your tama to watch/jewelry repair. Whenever I have a screw that's in there too tight, I use a small pair of pliers to help turn the screwdriver. Make sure to hold the screwdriver in place with one hand on the screw you are trying to remove, then with the other hand use the pliers to turn the screwdriver until the screw becomes loose enough for you to unscrew with just the screwdriver. This has helped me plenty of times and prevented me from stripping screws on my tamas. ;)

On my angel i've stretched a lot the back and i took the broken screw out, bad chinese screws :(
