Just some random sentimental thoughts... kind of a poem, but doesn't rhyme of have much rhythm...
Who does this apply to? It's a secret! But it's for anyone who has lost a friend. What exactly do I mean by losing a friend? It can mean anything you want.

When you came into my life, you were a blessing
A blessing so short
Like a butterfly that landed on my heart,
And then flew away, too fast for me to follow
The only person who made me smile
The only person I would ever hug
We laughed together, we cried together
Now I laugh and cry alone
I remember the times I made you sad
I promised I would make up for it
But now it's too late, a promise broken
I hope you can forgive me
If only you would suddenly appear
And fill my heart with joy again
Like the sun coming out from behind the clouds
Brightening my day
Sad tears, never to dry
A broken heart, never to repair
A missing smile, never to be found
A friend lost, never to return
