p's pierce issue?

so i got a pierce and i put it in, took it out for a second, then put it back in, but now it won't connect! It just says to deconnect it when i try, and when it is not connected it will just show the logo where it says nothing is connected until i refresh but I don't have time to put it in. Did I damage it? because I don't know what's going on

 
oh but i can stil play the games but the banner things at the top and bottom reverted to the original

 
Because it downloaded into the Ps. They will vanish/delete without the pierce after a few days. Then it will ask you to reinsert the pierce.
