I'm starting to brainstorm how I'd like to make a custom P's. I'm keeping an eye out for a good price on a blue or white one. I've read the various pages about replacing the design under the plastic faceplate, so that should be no problem. Now I'm starting to think about the deco pierce.

So, has anyone physically modded a deco pierce? What's inside when you pull one apart? I would like to embed the data from a pierce inside something neat and less girly since I'm a guy in my 20's.

A guy named Mr. Blink did similar thing (like make a similar pin) but not with existing pierce...

I think AzureStarline wants to know how to physically mod a pierce as well. ;)

Hmm, would be a tough thing for me to advise on since I haven't got my P's yet but perhaps you could try something with polymer clay? Or that plasticy stuff someone covered a tama with once?It had an awesome effect.

That said, have you seen any customized tamagotchis? There are some simply amazing ones around the web - wasn't it Mothra who has a page on their website dedicated to tamagotchi customization? It's perfect for inspiration, check it out!

Thanks guys. I'm wondering what to expect to find if I pull apart a pierce, though. Is it just that little flat piece that sticks out the back of the plastic decorative front part?
