My Hanagatatchi married to Uramametchi and had a baby boy. He was tsubutchi, then hitodetchi, and now he is crackertchi. Are my chances higher of getting Uramametchi now since that was his dad? Or does it rely on his stats only? If it helps here are his stats:

full hunger and happy, Full training

130 humor, 86 gorgeous, 99 spiritual

1 year, 20 pounds

Gen. 2

31,726 points

adult character depends on:

  • which type your teen character was
  • your stats
Crackertchi is of the Ura Mame family, so he can become Ura Mametchi, Samuraitchi (gorgeous), or Matsuritchi (spiritual)

you seem to be on the right path if you want Ura Mametchi

I've heard people say that the parents affect what the Tamagotchi character becomes, but based on my experiences, this is not so. It is possible that the type of family (Meme, Mame, or Kuchi) that your previous character was affects which of the skill points tends to increase the most. But that is just a theory. Basically, as long as you have the correct teen and the correct skill points, you can get the character you desire.

Actually, I found that on the V4.5, the teens often annoyingly jump families. It happened several times, on both my V4.5s, and I've heard it has happened to other people as well, so it's apparently not a glitch.

When I say they "jump families," I mean I've had a Crackertchi become a Yasagueretchi. I've also had a Daiyatchi become a Yasagueretchi, which is what's meant to happen. More upsettingly, I've had more than one Ura Young Marotchi evolve into a Shitekitchi (ew).

So unfortunately, this means that a good portion of the V4.5 evolutions are left up to chance, although the skill points still affect growth: if you raise a character with more of a certain skill point, it'll become a character that evolves from that skill point (i.e. a female teen with more "funny" points will become Horoyotchi, Purimatchi, or Yattatchi)
