I noticed that the paint on my 4U's faceplate is getting scratched off. Thing is, I haven't dropped it or anything. Are the faceplates just cheaply made?

The first picture is of the back of the faceplate. It's more noticeable if you shine light against it, though, as seen in the second picture.

Has anyone else experienced this with their 4U?

 
Yeah mine has that it annoys me because it looks like the faceplate is dirty but it just has tiny tiny holes in it.... I wonder tif you can get the same colour paint and paint over it they seem to be really badly made for something so expensive, I'm just sticking to my amecomic faceplate for now.

 
So the faceplate is transparent and painted using silver paint? o3o

 
I haven't had this problem with mine yet. Perhaps they get scratched just by being in the packaging, or maybe your fingers/fingernails rub the paint off. It might be a good idea to keep them wrapped in plastic or something when you're not using them so that they don't get damaged. :)
