The title says it all... Anyways, when I get my Melody Land Set, I was just wondering if American Eneloop rechargable batteries work with the P's and etc, If you know, it'd be really useful. Thanks :)

I don't know that rechargable batteries are a good idea, but I use Energizers and they work just fine.

American-made batteries in general work. I'm not sure about rechargeable ones though, I never use those. I can imagine that power would get drained very fast, and it would be quite an ordeal to charge them all the time.

As a person who keeps around rechargeables and uses them in wiimotes and stuff I would have to say your experience wouldn't be any different. Also unless the rechargeables are very old they hold a charge quite well. I haven't heard of rechargeables draining easily otherwise. But if you still want to be on the safe side I suggest using rayovac or energizer. In my years of using rechargeables these hold up the most.

I have to agree with you. I have had the best run time on these brands of batteries!

American batteries will work, but rechargeables are notoriously unreliable. They'll lose their charge after a while. Probably best to stick with regular batteries :)

I actually only use rechargeable batteries in all of my colour Tamagotchis. I find them to be much nicer than regular batteries as I can just recharge them within a few hours rather than purchase more. Plus rechargeables don't create more waste in the environment. :D Win win! But, yes, American batteries will work on any Tama. :3 Happy Hatching.
