Expensive TMGC+?

Ok so I've had my iD L for quite some time now and was looking at getting another colour tamagotchi. At first I thought the tamagotchi Ps would be great but I saw how much the pierces cost and that idea was out the windows x_x So anyway, I thought getting a tamagotchi colour+ would be really fun, but I search them up on ebay and all of them are at least $100? All of the other colour tamagotchis (besides the special versions like 15th anniversary etc) are ~$70 but for some reason the tamagotchi colours are really expensive. Anyone know why?

They might either be boxed or a rare color (e.g. cream)

You can normally get a used over for like £15 or a boxed one for about £20-25 if you stalk eBay enough

TMGC+C was the first color-screen Tamagotchi and has been out of production for quite a while now, and many people have been buying them over the years so the numbers are dwindling. This makes them rarer than newer color-screen versions and more sought-after, which is why they are more expensive.

Not all prices on ebay are "fair" prices. You need to keep your eye out for the good ones. Used typically isn't a bad way to go. Time to time used colors show up for very decent prices. The ones I bought, in person, show up better then the images posted online. I warn you, you will probably need to clean the tama off, maybe the inside of the shell. Its a trade off, but its a simple trade off.

I bought a black one used not so long ago for a very great price and it came in really great condition so I advise you try to find a used one insted of the overly expensive nip ones.
