Can't transform Teen character into Deco Pierce character (Tamagotchi P's)

Please help:

I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have successfully connected the Dream Coffret pierce to my P's and have followed the conditions needed to get a certain character (in this case the tama besides Coffretchi and Starchi). However, when I click the last option (YUMEX TV) of the door icon, I keep having conversations that eventually take me to the default screen.

What did I do wrong? I can't seem to transform my teen character.

It has to be a teen 24 hours.

Character pierces don't 'transform' characters. You meet the requirements with them as a teen then when their ready to evolve they will become the character you were going for.
