It's amazing how letters on a screen
Pixelated words, and what they mean
Can have so much impact on your mind
Before you know it, you begin crying
The distance is so long,
The attack still strong,
Pain in your heart,
Since the very start
You try to close your eyes
But it hurts you more than you realize
You cannot look away
The memories of this will always stay

But all in honesty, this shows just how hurtful words can become. We are all impacted by words, some more strongly affected than others. For some of us, words are just...words, that they have little to no impact without action to give them truth. Here it seems that this is for those who are more powerfully impacted by words. They can hit harder than virtually anything, and leave scars within the mind that may seem impossible to heal. Please don't forget, Jesus heals ALL wounds, even wounds afflicted by words. I hope you'll be able to recover from this someday...I'll pray for your healing.
