Tamagotchi Angel. I keep getting Takoten! What am I doing wrong?

I hope this is the place to put this. I am at my wits end with my tamagotchi angel! I read up on a site that the only way to get Kodoten was if you took good care of your maruten and thats what I've been doing! I maxed out AP, Hunger, and Effort. Deeds was only a few bars from being full but overall the tamagotchi was being perfectly cared for and STILL I got Takoten!

Am i doing something wrong? Is there a special technique i should be following? My main goal is to eventually get the twin gotchi but i don't think that'll ever happy if i'm always stuck with takoten.

That's odd, normally you should get Kodoten from good care. Is it possible you missed opportunities to praise if it didn't call for you?

I used mimitchi.com / Angelgotchi Alley as a reliable source of info on raising angelgotchis.

I've not done specific research to check the methods she suggests always work, all I can say is that they have done so for me.

You can still get the twins from Takoten. You have to try to get Puku-ten which in turn has the potential to become the twins, as well as other secret characters.

(I've managed to get the twins from Puku-ten)
