When I know I'll tell you.
I'm a night owl by nature. I tend to creep into bed close to midnight more often than not. However, I'm not a morning person in the least and often don't get up until closer to 9am unless I have to be somewhere earlier. As my title suggests, many of the more modern tamas (v5 and up) get up at the ungodly hour of 6am. I usually just set my tama back a few hours to compensate for my sleep schedule (and fixing the time when I'm up for the day) but I've sometimes forgot, only to wake up to a near-dead tama.

So how do you deal with the 6am wake up?

I keep my Tamas on my own schedule, a few hours behind, so they go to sleep when I do (midnight-2 usually) and wake up when I do (no earlier than 10, usually closer to noon). When I get a job and have to start waking up early, I can finally run a Tama on normal time.

Well, I normally go to sleep one hour before my Tamagotchis wake up... so yeah, I definitely change the time on them.

I go to sleep around 2:00 AM and don't wake up until sometime between 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, depending on if it's a weekend or not. I set my tamas to go to sleep at 12:00 to 2:00 AM depending on the version to make sure that I don't wake up to a dead tama.

Lately I've been losing sleep due to insomnia so I take strong sleeping pills which means I either wake up at 4 am or 12 pm. During the first I have no choice but wait for the tamas. And with the second, they don't even feel it so much how long I slept. Both of my TFs are very low maintenance. My recently bought v5 has to learn who rules here.
