My second V3 just arrived today and I noticed the sound is sort of muffled. The sound seems a little muffled when I'm selecting an icon, but when I scroll through a list, it's like I can hear every note that plays. Higher notes stay really loud and lower notes are really soft, making the Catch game kind of annoying because moving the can[?] to the left is ear gratingly loud and moving it right is a little too soft. The call sound is really weird because the low note is so much lower than it should be, not the sound, the note. The V3 otherwise works fine, but if I had known about the sound, I wouldn't have paid forty dollars for it especially since it's not in "excellent used condition" as it was advertised due to the replacement battery cover that looks like it came from a different Tamagotchi. Can the sound be fixed or should I ask for at least some of my money back?

That may be a speaker problem. I would recommend getting some of your money back!

Maybe the seller didn't know the sound was strange. It could be a battery problem, but if you're sure the battery is new, maybe you can try opening up the Tamagotchi and gently wiping the speaker clean (though not with water or anything, of course).

What's wrong with the battery cover, may I ask? Is it a different color?

I personally wouldn't ask for my money back but if you're disappointed with your purchase you can ask the seller for a portion of the money back--but not all of it, because the sound problem isn't the seller's fault and the battery cover problem seems minor.

The battery I'm using is new. I got the batteries shortly after my first V3 arrived. The back is a different color than the Tamagotchi. I don't think I'll try to get my money back. My V3 is usable, just a little different. My sense of hearing is really keen so I might be more sensitive to the notes than some people. Thanks!
