So to start off, I was just sitting down, and then all of a sudden I saw a line of missing pixels on my Tamagotchi's screen! And I assumed that it was because I went outside sunbathing with it under the end of my dress..So why did this happen? Can I fix it? I've heard of this problem before, and people have said that you may need to change the circuit, but it might be something else. Images are linked because I have NO idea how to put it in a spoiler..https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-zxVKun2o_Aw/VTAbgII_PeI/AAAAAAAAAVg/TrKFoUgSWGI/w1102-h823-no/IMG_0966.JPG https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-C5f5hi-ywMk/VTAba1jD3LI/AAAAAAAAAVY/PWHQ9WMQLYU/w1102-h823-no/IMG_0965.JPG

Is it warm, like hot? Tamas aren't very good with sunlight, it makes the pixels have issues. If it was in a bag, it would be better off.

Get it to a pause and remove the batteries to make sure they cool and don't do anything while inside the tama. Maybe leave the cover off too.

Looks like I was right! It was the heat! And I'll do that, thank you! And yes, it was very warm. High in the 70's I think..Looks like from now on I'll keep my Tamagotchis away from the heat!

Mine don't do too well in the cold either. They say something about Temps in instructions but most of the time it isn't an issue unless it's a fair amount of time. My tamago hated winter travelling, needless to say, that is prone to trouble... because of the regular batteries, same with the TF.

Just now I put batteries in it, and it still has missing pixels..Does it mean that this will be permanent?

I usually get my pixels back if it gets distorted outside... it's possible it may come back, but they don't always. Mine is usually the cold side of things though.

New Batts probably won't help, only if the other Batts were warm/hot when they were removed. BTW... not rechargeable Batts right? They say not to use them either, but that is commonly ignored.

Oh no! Try pressing VERY GENTLY on the screen, or pressing the two halves of the shell together more. If the pixels appear a bit, then that means you might be able to fix it by tightening the screws inside the Tamagotchi. But because of how the Tamagotchi Friends is built, it might be difficult or impossible...

Well, to get into the tamagotchi friends. You need to remove the top. Once you do that, you will see the "fancy" tape they used to help keep the shell/screen together. If you can, tighten the inside. Then if you have it, 3d tape that. I have 3 different types of tape on my TF. (3d, black double-sided flat or clear double-sided flat)

Removing the top is pretty simple. Take a card (Credit card thickness) pokemon card might work... Take the corner of the card into the side closest to the screen and once you get into it, slide the card up all the way to the top. It may make a little popping sound, but mostly, you are trying to reach the tape and the little holder parts. Its held similar to the tamago but a bit more snug as its not directly suppose to come off.
