As of right now I'm running three Tamagotchis. I'm getting my first color Tama (Tamagotchi P) in the mail very soon. Because I don't want to run four at once is there any way I can stop running one but still save it? I was thinking that I could take out the batteries and then when I want to run it again I could put in new batteries and hit the load button. Would that work? Would it work to keep the Tamagotchi paused for a super long time? (A couple months) I literally created an account just to ask this so please respond.

Hi! Congratulations on your Tamagotchi P's! For your question, it is okay to remove the batteries and resume after a couple months. The Tamagotchi will always have a download option when you restart or take off the batteries, meaning you can continue where you left even if the Tamagotchi hasn't run for a while. I do this all the time so don't worry!

Anyway, I hope you stick around the forums as well! :D

Taking out the batteries is fine. When you put in new ones, press the reset button and select Download on the screen.

You could pause it for a few months but that would eat up the battery.
