first colour tama...

After much reading, re reading and severe wallet staring , I've ordered my first colour tamagotchi.

A fuzzy weekend morning rekindled my love for them with an impromptu purchase of "friends" . Having no one to connect to... as well as screen contrast issues, this "friends" version didnt cut it for me (my last was v4 when tamatown was about). Found the online interaction lacking and bit limited. Chars are cute though.

Soooo finally settled on the p's . Extra content, downloads, wasnt going to risk the 4u content only being accessed on my xperia

Got a melody set for £32 on amazon, seemed reasonable. Plus chance of patching if I get lazy learning the menus .

Congratulations on your first colored Tamagotchi! You couldn't have gone with a better version! My first color was a yellow Tamagotchi +Color and was enthusiastic as hell. Patching is good but I'm guessing you wouldn't need it that much. Learning the menu is super easy but I would recommend getting the English patch if you want to read the dialogues in the park.

And now we wait for the postman. Learning menus and trying to find a decent irda...

For me it was easier to learn the menus than finding an IRda since in my country all irda plug-ins are incompatible with P's.

Hope you have lots of fun with the Tamagotchi P's! My first color screen was the iD L. The P's was confusing to me at first but there's lots to do once you get the hang of it.

I've found PyroTarukia's log. Seems like a good place ot start for menus and things. Next is the IrDA.. I think I'm going ot need one for downloads and things regardless of patching (i AM going to learn the hiragana! g'damnit!

Hoping I've got an old phone in a drawer at home which will have the functionality on. Failing that ... hmm. It actually looks cheaper to find an old PDA than the adapter! (unless i am lucky and find a second hand one on ebay)

My "friends" version turned into a Coffreitchi today, so cute! .. but there really is so many times i can send her to the park alone *sigh*
