If I were to let a tamagotchi endlessly sleep after the baby stage (aka clock resetting constantly to sleep times) would the tama be a bad care or good care character? Just something I'd like to try out on my v6...

It should be a perfect care character, due to the lack of opportunity of care misses. I am sure that is for most all versions as well.

If it's a tama with a Discipline meter it will be bad care. If a +Color, ID/IDL or Tama Friends it will be good care.
If you don't meet requirements i.e. skills on v4, bonds on v5, practice on v6 it will be bad/average care. On the P's and 4u a personality needs to be set or the growth is random.
So basically this method will only get you a good care character if 'care misses' are the only factor.
