On the Keitai, Entama, etc. you actually can give your Tamagotchi a double-barrelled name. Basically it is a good idea to have two names that take up to 40% of the quota (5 characters), so up to two characters. Then in the middle insert a dash.
In my case, the double-barrelled names I've come up with so far are:
Yuta-Soma (ゆた-そま), basically my favourite one which I call my UraTama most of the time. I think it's probably more suiting for the male UraMeme group personally.
Yuki-Yuna (ゆき-ゆな), which I call my Entama most of the time. I think it's probably more suiting for the female Kuchi group personally.
What have you come up with lately?
