My Music Star's Status is Wrong

My Music Star left yesterday and decided to change the instrument for the new baby. I changed it to the Mega Drums and let him practice them. But when I checked his status, it said he plays the turn table! (And that was not the instrument his mom used, she used headphones). He's a teenager now and it still says he plays the turn tables instead of the mega drum. Is this what the mega drum does? Just become any random instrument? Please help. :p

 
It did that with me for awhile with headphones and violin. It should change eventually, but try resetting and downloading if the problem persists.

 
Well I'm glad to hear that it's happened before and it's not something that will hurt my tama. I just tried resetting and downloading him but it still says he plays the turn tables. :p Looks like I'll have to wait it out... I'll post here again if it doesn't fix itself.

 
If I remember correctly, the status there only shows the tama's currently favourite instrument. It will change over time, and many of them like to default to the turn tables for some reason.

Thank you! I didn't know that it was his favorite instrument. I hope it changes soon (because he's going to evolve into and adult tomorrow).

Even if it does evolve, whatever it's favourite is, won't affect it's ability to play the instrument. I find the "Favourite Instrument" indicator to be kind of buggy anyhow :p
