When you restart a V5 Family or a V6 Music Star, does it's growth get delayed for a day or two?

Also, when this happens if you restart it by either a new battery or the reset button, does it still get married?

 
If you're talking about just plain resetting the unit, your data will be erased. If you mean by downloading, which is where you go to your last save point, it will just go back to where your Tamagotchi had last saved.

It might go to the last time your Tamagotchi evolved or woke up, so the growth process will be slowed just a bit.
