Help I need help my Tamagotchi P's got dump and splish splashed into the water by my baby brother and I need help please suggest what I should do! :(

I've seen people suggest, for older Tama's, taking the back off/removing batteries and leave it in rice for a few hours/overnight to absorb the excess water.

Once it's completely dried inside and out insert new batteries and hope no lasting damage has been done to the circuits.

Don't use a hairdryer or anything like that as the heat could damage it further.

Is it still working? How wet did it get? :0 If just a few drops got splashed it should be fine as long as it didn't get inside the shell.
