Help with downloading patches

Ok so i got this infrared reader"

and i installed it all on the computer and stuff, and managed to download patch 1 of 3, but i cant for the life of me get the timing right again for patch 2 and 3. ive tried for like an hour and am now getting really frustrated. >_< any tips to make it easier. My computer gives a delayed response or times out.

infrared phones are cheaper and easier to use.

Not sure where your getting cheaper? All the ones I've seen are 50 dollars plus! I can't find a proper list and can't for some reason log into to tama zone. I haven't heard back from any mods either.

i got my phone for 50 zlotys which is about 20 dollars in a thrift kind of store and it was a nokia 6something. i guess i might have been lucky. anyways where I live adaptors are useless with tamagotchis so my only choices were to buy one from abroad (which i really didn't want because of the hassle and customs) or buy an infrared phone. and even if my nokia cost 50 dollars i'd rather buy it than buy an adapter. im underlining it, it's easier to use than adapters
