Help with Tama p patches using a phone.

So I've been trying to patch my Tama p for awhile now. I started off with a USB dongle and hated it. Returned it and ordered the palm centro. Now I'm having issues with the files. I put the files on the micro sd and load it into the phone and the only thing the phone is reading is the read me file from mr blinky. It is my understanding the files appear as a graphic on the phone correct? So why doesn't it show on the phone? I reformatted the sd card. Does it need to be done a certain way? Any ideas? Help!
