Can somebody tell me what this gear-like, turnable switch on the Arukotch is for? I tried turning it around but it doesn't seem to do anything. It doesn't adjust the volume or contrast or anything like that. There is a minus and a plus sign at the sides of the switch, for minimum and maximum. It doesn't tighten the clip, either.

Here's a pic of the instructions if it helps, but the tiny symbols are too hard to read even in real life. I can read the word "adjustment" and I think "vibration" but I'm not sure...

Please help because I hate not knowing what it does. X'D

Btw, thank you for sending me a better quality image of that page.

The instruction booklet says,

Code:
振動感知

調整ダイヤル

ダイヤルを回す
ことで歩数の感
知の強弱を調整できます。
Translated,
Code:
Vibration Sensitivity

To Adjust The Dial
Turn the dial, to adjust the strength of sensitivity. Senses the number of steps.
I hope that helps.
