Care Misses; Raised Wrong Tama?

So yesterday I had a Bokuhoshitchi and I really wanted to try and get a Gozarutchi. However, when he evolved this morning, he became a Kuishinbotchi?! But isn't Kuishinbotchi meant to be with no, or minimal, care misses? I know for a fact that I missed at least six, if not more, because I was keeping note. So even if I hadn't got Gozarutchi, surely I shouldn't have got Kuishinbotchi?

I'm just wondering if anyone can shed some light as to what might be going on? Just I've already raised Kuishinbotchi before, so I was hoping to get a Tama I've not had before.

I'm running an iD L E, by the way, and referring to the growth charts supplied elsewhere on this site. Could it possibly be that the Japanese and English versions have dfferent care misses? I raised my first Kuishinbotchi over a year ago, so I really can't recall how I got him at the time (I think, as he was only my third Tama on this device, that I was just making sure to make some misses and see what happened, rather than deliberately trying for specific characters).
