New to Tamagotchi 4U+, Help?!

I recently purchased the new Tamagotchi 4U+ whilst in Tokyo and I love it. I was given and English guide but it is not very detailed.

I have worked out what most of the icons mean and what they do, however, my Tamagotchi says things to me which I cannot read. I have been unable to toilet train my tamagotchi because the toilet symbol isn't coming up... only japanese words. Also, other icons which are supposed to show up, such as the building blocks for cleaning, have not shown. The toothbrush sign has, however, shown.

Does anybody know what my Tamagotchi could be saying to me or why the toiletting symbol isn't coming up?!

The icons will appear eventually! When they do make sure you do the action they want as soon as possible and remember to always praise your tamagotchi after it's completed the action. Sadly, I do not know what the tamagotchi is saying
