Oo! Tamagotchi V3 was my very first one I got! When I joined this forum group I even made some tricks and tips! Sadly, it got locked cause someone else already made one like mine. Anyway, here is the link. Note, when I say the cuck coo clock is useless, I was wrong. At every hour, it does an animation and a bird pops out.

So here is a working link to scans of the original V3 instruction manual: https://s59.photobucket.com/user/binary_pics/library/Tamagotchi%20Connection%20V3%20Instruction%20Manual?sort=3&page=1And here is the link for my tips and tricks: https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/topic/191236-tamagotchi-version-3/

The V3 is nice, but the games are a bit long and can be difficult sometimes. A new game is unlocked each time the Tamagotchi evolves. Also remember that the characters can be either gender, so that means you can get male Memetchis and female Kuchipatchis.

Out of the connections V3 and v4/4.5 are the best (imo). They're not difficult nor too easy to care for, the games are fun, even if the V3 ones go on for a while. V4 is where they introduced going to school and work and I really like that about V4. If you're going to get any connection version I'd say either of those.
V1 and V2 are kinda difficult in comparison, games wise.
I found V5 to be annoying, stats seem to go down really quickly and the whole bonding thing is irritating, plus mine went buggy sometimes and I remember a lot of people saying their's did too.

I don't have much of an opinion on the V6 as when I did play it I really didn't like it so I didn't play it for too long. The only redeeming factor of it for me was the sound block game.
