The newest release in Japan (and in general) is the Tamagotchi 4U+, an upgraded version of the 4U. Internationally, the latest release is the Tamagotchi Friends Dream Town version, an upgraded version of the regular Tamagotchi Friends. There are rumors about an English colored Tamagotchi because Bandai hinted that there is something in store for the Tamagotchi franchise on their facebook page. These are just speculations though. This maybe another non-colored version, a new app, or other products such as toys or clothes.
