i have 2 IDLs. Can an adult connect with a toddler?

Don't know why no one has answered, but I'd search YouTube for an answer, I just recently got my 15th anniversary IDL and I have found out a lot about it through YouTube ^-^

 
how come on the stats screen of the English Idl, there's no name for the Tama character? But there's a name for it in the Japanese version.
