Hey there, not a new Tamagotchi owner, as this problem has been plaguing me for years.

I'm sure that anyone who has had to keep a tamagotchi in a bag, pocket, or other carrying case has had this problem before, ESPECIALLY with the newer color tamas and any with the hard plastic buttons.

What do you do to prevent accidental button pressing when a tamagotchi is in a bag or pocket??

Whenever I put my ID Ls or P's in my bag, they always seem to get buttons pressed. Most often, it changes the time, or just leaves it on the change time screen, pausing my tama even when I don't want it to. Does anyone have any fixes for this?

it never happened to me. when i was reading, i took out my p's nothing

That's a little strange. That doesn't happen often. Is you tamagotchi old and has been used for a long time? If it is, then that is not strange! The buttons may be a little loose and easy to accidentally press.

That happens to my tamagotchi Friends Dream Town a lot, where I open my bag and I see my character is paused. I can't really do anything about it, though. It doesn't bother me really, and it doesn't happen very often. I suggest putting your tama in the biggest section of the bag, and try not to having anything touching it.

Sometimes it happens to my Tamagotchi P´s too,and it is new!

The best thing for that is to carry it in a pouch. Something like an older cell phone case or camera case on a belt loop. Put it in a pouch in a metal pencil case, just make sure its actually covered so it doesn't do anything damaging to the screen/shell.

Thanks guys! I have a full bag and I walk around a lot during the day, so that's probably why it happens to me so much. I'll try those things, thanks!
