The Ugly Ringotchi (Not the same as ugly duckling)

On a rainy day by a pond, the mother ringotchi just getting some food, right as she heard a cracking noise. She stared at all six of her eggs. One by one, her eggs hatched bringing a new genoration. But the last egg was different. It was a lighter shade of color. Softly, it hatched and to mother ringotchi's surprise, but it was NOT a pretty sight. It was small and it looked like a circle, not a heart. It had no feet. The mother ringotchi and all the babies backed away from her. "Hey, let's name her Diffy!" Said one. "No, no, let's name her Oddy!" And that's what they did. Her name was Oddy. I really wish I was named Addy, Oddy said to herself. Everyone laughed at her. The mother did too. Oddy's eyes filled up with tears. All of a sudden, the ichigotchi family walked by. Everyone gazed at them. Wow, Oddy thought. If only I could be as beautiful as they are. The ichigotchi's smiled sweetly at Oddy, like she was a friend. She smiled back. "Okay little ones, time to go get food from the farm!" Oddy ran over. But a chicken jumped out! It started pecking at Oddy and she ran as fast as she could. Her family laughed as hard as they could.

Will Oddy survive? Will her family at least KEEP HER?
