Hi everyone! My friend was feeling nostalgic so she got me and her Tamagotchi Friends. I have a question about the life cycle/ageing process of my tamagotchi. I found this topic (https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/topic/190731-my-tamagotchi-isnt-aging/) but it's locked and does not really answer my question. What I want to know is if my tamagotchi is behaving too abnormal and if it needs a certain age to start a new generation.

Background story:

I started up my tama last Thursday (it's sunday now) and put in the correct date and time. On both Thursday and Friday night I paused the tamagotchi when I went to bed , because I knew it would wake up earlier than me. The tama evolved into a cosmotchi Friday evening (I was so proud :D ), but even though it evolved, it did not age at all. It was still 0 years old. On Saturday I decided not to pause it when I went to bed, to see if it would age. Which it did. And after un-pausing it for an hour or so it turned into an adult (knighttchi). So now I have a 1 year old knighttchi - which is weird right?

So I guess that Tamagotchi Friends only age if they are unpaused around the time they wake up, and that they evolve into next stages based on how many hours you are playing.

Can he ever have kids? Can I get his age back to normal without messing with the time? Do I have to wake up at 07:00 from now on to let him age? And for how long could I leave him alone after he wakes up without him going depressed? (Say I would wake up at 09:00, it wouldn't kill him, right?)

So many questions

It might not age correctly when you pause it or when you restart it when the batteries die. I've had my tama's ages get messed up when I restart them after pausing or putting in new batteries. They usually work fine, maybe take a little longer to get the matchmaker/visit the date place. It's probably just a minor glitch and shouldn't affect anything too much.

I think they age only at midnight or when they wake up. If it was paused by those times, that's probably why it didn't age.

Ah, must not have been midnight then. Perhaps it could be when they wake up. Try setting your time to a minute before they wake up and see if that works. If not, then the age doesn't really matter. Try to ignore it I guess as age doesn't matter much on the Friends.

It ages at 07:00, when it wakes up :) . I won't change the time though cause I want to play 'fair', if that makes sense.
