Okay, so I'm going to try not to go into too big of a thing so as to not waste anyone's time, and even if you haven't played the game listed in the topic yet still have knowledge of the older tamagotchi from around 1998, you might still be able to help me, which I could really use if it's not too much trouble!

Anyway, I've recently been playing the old Japan-only Sega Saturn game "Sega de Hakken!! Tamagotchi Park" and it's been a pretty big blast! However, I haven't gotten very far. I can't read Japanese, although the mechanics are still easy enough to understand. The amount of information for this game on the internet is insufficient at BEST, and I'm struggling getting to the next gen, since the game features gen 1 and gen 2 tamagotchi.

In order to get the gen 2 tamagotchi, I apparently need a dotted egg, which Oyajitchi lays (I couldn't even find THAT on the internet; I had to find someone to ask). However, I don't know how to get him. I mean, I'm aware that he evolves from Maskutchi, but any information I find either leads me to the newer tamagotchi tips, which are useless to me, or mixed information. Some sources say that I need to treat Maskutchi with 100% discipline and perfect care, while others say that I shouldn't raise his discipline higher than 75% and should treat him with average/above-average care. It's also confusing because I know that there's an angel character by the name of Oyajitenshi and you get him via bad care, so that makes me feel even more lost. Even for getting Sekitoritchi, who I'll have to get after this, I could find such limited information; I only know that he evolves from Zuccitchi, and various sources say that I have to give him perfect care while others say good care with discipline 25% or lower. I'm trying my best to get Maskutchi to evolve, but to no avail. The only unanimous thing seems to be that Maskutchi and Zuccitchi evolve at day 9-12.

Can someone who either knows this game well or knows old tamagotchi growth well let me know about this? I'm still learning so this is a struggle and the lack of information about this game doesn't help. I would just play another game, but the whole reason I'm doing this in the first place is for the Sega characters, who I've been told come from an egg that Sekitoritchi hatches. So, I need Sekitoritchi to get the Sega eggs and I need Oyajitchi to get Sekitoritchi. :angry:

Even if you can't help, thanks for reading and I appreciate the support! <3

Hmm, that does sound confusing. I'm sorry that you haven't been able to get any good answers and I'm afraid I won't be much help either. :( How many times have you tried evolving Maskutchi into Oyajitchi? Maybe it's a matter of patience and dedication, because it sounds like the eggs that Oyajitchi lays adds completely new characters beyond the generation 2 Tamas.

You're half-right. Basically, the game starts you off with G1 eggs. Then you get Oyajitchi and you get a G2 egg. Then you get Sekitoritchi and you get a Sega egg.

I've raised about ten Maskutchi by now, trying different combinations of discipline and care, yet I've had no luck.I dunno if weight factors in as well, so I might even have to test that too, I'm not sure...

Thanks for replying anyway! It's nice to know that people are listening even if they can't help. ;u;

It could be the weight! I keep my adults at around 20lb, maybe try that? I believe underfed and overweight Tamas can affect how they grow. ^_^

Yeah, it's just too bad that 30g is as low as I can go on Maskutchi and I've kept it at that for so many of them, so unless evolution requires it to be heavy... -_-

Thankfully, the ten Maskutchi didn't talk that long to raise because the game has a speed setting, but still, it's a little saddening to see every Maskutchi either lay a normal egg then die or just plain die. D:
