Madonnaitchi on iD L

I know you can get Madonnaitchi by connecting to six different friends. However, I just have the one extra Tama (my P arrived today!); is it possible to pause the iD L and connect to six different generations on the P to get Madonnaitchi or not?

It, sadly, doesn't work like that. Just like you can't use an iD L to obtain secret characters on P's, you can't obtain Madonnatchi or other secret characters on iD L with a P's

So I need to connect my iD L to another iD L to unlock Madonnaitchi? Darn. =\

You can. It's 6 different Tamagotchis you have to connect to the iD L. You can also get Hoshigarutchi and Charatchi on the P's with an iD L as well.

As far as I found out and figured it out myself, you may get Hoshigirltchi or Charatchi on P's with a single iD L (although I read that it has to be a P's to connect to another P's to get them) but not Shirimotchi and Harptchi since they require a 3-way connection which iD L is unable to perform.

Okay, I'm a little confused now.

For the iD L, secret characters Girahiratchi and Maisutatchi can or cannot be got by connecting to a P thirty times?

For Maddonatchi and Hirotchi, can I connect to one P (or must it be an iD L) with six different generations? Or does it need to be six different handsets? (I read somewhere that this could be achieved by resetting the Tamagotchi six times?)

I've literally only just got my P and I've not yet looked at any growth charts so have no idea who or how to get secret characters. I'm just focusing on the iD L right now.

You can reset your P's over and over to get Herotchi and Madonnatchi. They technically count as different Tamagotchis each time you reset. I don't think it works per generstion unfortunately, as it says you need to connect to 6 different Tamagotchis. For Maisutatchi and Giragiratchi, yes! You should be able to connect 32 times to a P's to get them.

Considering buying a second P now to reset and unlock the secret characters (obviously not Shirimotchi or Harptchi) on both of my handsets. Someone is selling a second hand one with a pierce that I want so, hmm. Just a question of whether I can afford it, haha.
