Tamagotchi P's jerky animations/slow

I recently patched my P's to English. I'm not sure if the problems started after I patched it or if I just didn't notice before, but I have a Patitchi on my P's now, and when she goes outside the animation is super jerky. It's like a long-short-long-short pattern of movements, rather than the regular pattern that I was used to. I'm observing it right now at night (7pm).

Also, it's started to take a really long time for the P's to confirm and continue when I purchase something.

Is this normal or is something wrong with my P's?

This happens to me too, but for my iD-L...

The animation is like that usually. It's supposed to be a bit stuttered from the last time I checked. It probably depends on which animation though, as I know there's at least 2.

The P's is also quite laggy when confirming selections and scrolling, even with the original Japanese. I'm guessing its due to memory issues but the iD L, iD and 4U have no problems with it.

The outside animation is sometimes a lot more laggy if it's raining or snowing.
