My tamagotchi P is mad

My tamagotchi P is an adult and I have cleaned the kitchen when it was dirty so he isn't angry about that but whenever I feed him the rice when he is angry he gets mad at me. His face gets red and he is very angry. Does anyone know why he is so angry? Does he not like the rice anymore. It does fill a spot on the hungry meter but I don't know why he is so mad.
