I read somewhere that if you pause a tamagotchi ocean that you shouldn't advance the time because it can cause them to die early. Does anyone with an ocean know if this is true?

press 'B' (the second button) and then press 'A' (the first button) and 'C' (the last one) and leave at the clocks set screen when you can take care of it press 'A' for hours 'B' for minutes and 'C' for set the time (i think

I'm not sure whether it does actually make a difference but every time I paused mine and changed the clock time it did die. When I paused it and didn't change the clock time I managed to get an adult. This might have been coincidence?
