It's about a small town called Stars Hollow and it's inhabitants, primarily Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory. Lorelai had Rory at 16 and they are very close. She struggles being a mother instead of a friend, finding love, opening her own inn, dealing with her disapproving rich parents, and facing the reality of her daughter leaving the nest. The characters are so loveable. It's one of my favorite shows ever. They're bringing it back for a four episode revival showing a year in the life of the Gilmore Girls in present day.
